Enjoying the warm while it lasts

The past few days have been great, compared to the bitter cold we have been dealing with!  And when the weather is good, people are happy, which also makes for a great Trivia experience.  Rogue's Harbor is always fun, and this week was no different.  We had a team come back that we haven't seen in a while, and that's always nice!  As always, here is your picture!

The House (a.k.a Tony) won first place with 612 points, congrats!

Sis came back to reclaim her points from last week when she was absent, and came in second place!

Last, but not least, Garlic Hot came in 3rd with 0.

The Do Or Die dare was a bit tricky, but people went for it, and that takes guts!

Off to a great start

The start of winter leagues means the start of some fierce competition, which was definitely the case at The Plantation last night.  We had a total of ten teams, including one new team that will hopefully join the trivia family.  Tonight, there will be a game at the Cortland Applebee's at 8:00.  Don't forget to bring your bonus points!  As always, here are the pictures from last night's game.

LAMA came out of nowhere and snatched first place with 920 points, congrats!

Old Guys Rule and The Menagerie had to battle it out for second place by participating in the tie-breaker, which is always some added fun.  Old Guys Rule turned in the correct answer, giving them the second place prize, and The Menagerie the third place prize, both with 728 points.

That means more teams, more fun, and more people in one area, perfect for keeping warm!  Things appear to be looking up weather-wise, so hopefully it won't be as bitter cold as it has been lately.  Tonight, we'll be at The Plantation at 8:00, so don't forget your bonus points, and if you'd like to change your team name, it must be done within this week for your league points.  I'll be posting the pictures from tonight's game tomorrow.  And, like I said before, if there is anything else you guys would like to see, just leave a comment give me your opinions!

Just a little cold out.

Don't you just love this weather?  Yeah, neither do we.  We had a blast last night at Rogue's Harbor, though we did miss a few of our regular teams, probably due to the vicious, cold wind.  Only a few more weeks of this nonsense, thank goodness!  Don't forget, if you would like to change your team name, it must be done this week so that you can get your brand-spanking-new league points!

Garlic Hot won first place with 264 points

The Beachcombers came in second, pretty awesome for a new team!

Tony, the bartender (who usually plays under the team name "The House") decided to play for Sis, so that she could get her league points, since she couldn't make it to Rogue's.  He came in third place with zero points, let's see what Sis says about that!  Haha!  You guys are a riot!

Ready for a full week

It's great to be back on our regular schedule!  We've missed the locations that were closed over the holidays, but we're back and ready to go!  Today is also the start of Winter Leagues, so if you're looking to change your team name, it must be done this week.  Tonight, as you all know, we will be at Rogue's Harbor ready to play at 7:30.  I will also be posting lists of each venue that we host at the bottom of every blog, so be sure to come and hunt for us!  As always, make sure you bring your bonus points!  (Tonight's bonus points are insanely easy, just F.Y.I)

Hello, 2014!
