A Holiday Hiatus.

It's about that time of year, but we will still be at Rogue's Harbor tonight at seven thirty.  Then it's off for the Holidays, so we wish you all the best, be safe, and have a wonderful time!  Come on out to Rogue's tonight for our last game before Christmas!  Here are the pictures from last week.

A good turnout last week, despite the fact that the employee Christmas party was about to be underway.  We moved at a fast pace through the game so that we could get out of their hair.

Every game is a championship game when you're a trivia fanatic, and that's the way we like it.  At The Plantation, everyone is always in high spirits and ready for a good time.  We've had a few people start showing up every week, which is always awesome.  As for pictures, here you go!

It was Rocky's birthday yesterday!  Rocky is the bartender, but from where I sit, I couldn't get a picture of her.  But here is B-Dale crew having a good time as usual.

Even though the drive to The Plantation was horrid due to weather conditions, the teams and staff definitely made it worth our while.  Can't wait to see you all again next week!

On a side note: Each game we play, I try and get as many pictures as I can, but I don't want to be getting a lot of the same pictures.  If there are things that you would like to see, or you have any sort of ideas on what else I should be taking pictures of, then please do let us know by leaving a comment!  Any advice or requests would be greatly appreciated!

It was everything a host could hope and dream for.

The Championships were even more fun than we had anticipated!  Definitely the largest group we've had the pleasure of working with.  There were eleven teams!  It was almost standing room only in Rogue's Harbor, and that's always an awesome sight to see.  As usual, we have a picture of the scoreboard for your viewing pleasure.

One of the Ithaca Applebee's teams took first place with 920 points, and that was Crebain from Dunland.  Congrats!

Second place was Suspicious Moles, also from Ithaca Applebee's.

Third place was The Mighty Midwest, an awesome victory considering Rogue's Harbor is their home turf.

Rogue's Harbor also handed out extra goodies to those who came in fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh.

I've been kicking myself for not getting a picture of the crowd, there was at least fifty people!  But everyone played a good, clean game.  No cellphones were seen, and no answers were shouted out.  It was a great time, we definitely hope to host a championship game again some day!  Thank you to everyone who came out and had an amazing night with us!

We finally saw some teams that we haven't seen in a while at The Plantation!  Definitely glad to have you guys back, and we hope you enjoyed your Holiday and the ones to come.  We're still as excited as ever about the Championships, and continue to wish everyone the best of luck!  There was a nice turnout last night with seven teams.  Here's the winners !

We had a nice little surprise waiting for us in the form of Dan wanting to play some trivia!  He also happens to be on the winning team "Wayne the Main Brain", who took first place prize with 1,000 points!

So, this wasn't taken at Rogue's Harbor, but it is a great example of people getting creative!  When you can't lose points for wrong answers, then why not make up something witty(or even a little ridiculous)?  It just adds even more to the fun!

Tonight, as you all know, we will be at The Plantation in Dryden for the eight o'clock game.  Come on down for a crazy awesome time!  And don't forget the championships on December 9th at Rogue's Harbor!

Time for some updates!

It's that time again!  Playoffs begin this week, so let the games begin!  Tonight, playoffs are held at O'Leary's in Penn Yann for the teams at O'Leary's, Sal's, and The Keuka.  The game starts at seven thirty, and good luck to all the participating teams!  On a sad note, we will not be at Kilpatrick's on Wednesday nights at 10:30 anymore.  We definitely enjoyed our time there, and hope that everyone else feels the same!  Tonight is Rogue's Harbor at 7:30 in Lansing, so go out and hunt for the daily bonus and be sure to join us tonight for an awesome game.  Wednesdays are still happening at The Plantation, so we will see you then as well.  Here are some pictures from the past games!

What a great way to start a week!

There's no such thing as the "Monday Blues" at Rogue's Harbor.  The crowd is always awesome, and the staff are great, as well!  Here's the picture of the scoreboard from Monday nights game.

Garlic Hot took first place prize, and I definitely hope that team "Sis" sees this picture, because she never thought she'd come in second place!  It was an awesome game, and I am happy that I captured this moment on camera!

More technical difficulties.

So, after we fixed the last malfunctions, our computer seemed to have caught a virus, which kept me from keeping you all up to date.  Fortunately, we got rid of the virus, and I can resume my nightly posting.  I will cram all of the pictures and information from last week into this post so that we are all back up to speed.

Another fun-filled evening at The Plantation.  It's always cool when a new team makes it onto the winning scoreboard.  We did miss some of our die-hard regulars, though, so we sure hope to see you all this week!

Unfortunately, by this time, my phone had died, so I couldn't take pictures.  But the winning team was team Kelsea with 110 points, and in second was DVDA.

We got to enjoy yet another fun-filled Trivia experience at Rogues Harbor last night.  We also had a new team, not that we don't adore all of you faithful Trivia followers!  Garlic Hot took the first place prize, which is a $20 gift certificate.  We didn't have a chance to take more pictures, but we will definitely continue to post them when we can!  We always look forward to new and familiar faces, so come on out and play with us!  Don't forget on Tuesday nights at 10:00 you can find us at Level B nightclub in Ithaca!

Wednesday nights are heating up!

Wednesdays are always a blast because the two Trivia locations both offer such variety!  The Plantation is always fun, especially when there are new teams involved.  The team "3rd Edition" won first place in last night's game by doubling their score on the Do Or Die dare!  The game at The Plantation starts at 8:00, which gives enough run time for a fun and relaxing session of Trivia before we go to Kilpatrick's.  That game starts around 10:30, and the crowd there definitely seems to be growing both in size, and in enthusiasm throughout game play!  (Coming from a host, NOTHING is more fun than an enthusiastic crowd!)  Here are some more team photos from both of our locations.

New Tuesday location in Ithaca!

Say hello to the Level B Nightclub!  Trivia starts every Tuesday night here at 10:00 p.m.  So, if you're bored, or if you're a college student looking for a great way to take a break from all the school work, come and join the fun!  First place prize is a $50 bar tab, and if that's not enough, then the friendly staff and great music should convince you!  

Very fun atmosphere, lively music, and always a good time!

After a couple of weeks off due to the holidays, Monday Trivia night returns to Ithaca, with DJ Trivia at Rougues Harbor. Bring your team or start a new one.
